A History of Thinking Differently
Ribometrix was founded on a big idea: build a proprietary drug discovery platform based on novel RNA structure determination technology to discover and develop small molecule therapeutics that inhibit the translation of disease-related proteins. This approach combines the RNA-targeting advantages of oligonucleotide therapeutics with the benefits of small molecule drugs.
The Opportunities Are Vast
Every protein is produced from an mRNA “blueprint,” including “undruggable” proteins. Small molecule therapeutics that target and disrupt the translation of that “blueprint” would be applicable across a wide range of therapeutic areas. We have assembled a team of experts in RNA biology and drug discovery, and together we have built an industry-leading discovery engine and comprehensive drug pipeline to address serious diseases.
